Thanks for posting!

My husband is a full time college student, and we went through exactly the same thing looking for supplies for his art class last semester.

Despite all our diligence (and visits to numerous stores in a 50-mile radius), he still ended up with a bunch of the wrong stuff!

But boy, could he draw a mean house (or was that a shoebox ... or maybe a toaster??) after that class ...

I'm sure having the exact supplies his teacher demanded--who knew there were 50 million different charcoal pencils in the world--would have made all the difference in the world!

OK, I feel better about just buying school supplies from the PTA. It costs $50, delivered to the classroom, done!

Thank you for making me laugh. We have Parent-Teacher Conference on the 15th (DS is in K).
