Does the Belly Bandit work?

As a FTM to be I'm very into looking into the items I must have on hand for the babe's arrival and one of the items I've heard about is the Belly Bandit. Does this really work to help shrink down the uterus and belly? Also read that its supposed to make you feel comfortable until your ab muscles have recovered. Of course this also sounds to good to be true. Any advice? Thanks!

I worked as a physical therapist pre-kids (mostly in pediatrics however). I also have had a diastasis from my pregnancies (separated abdominal muscles).

I would recommend looking at the Tupler Mummy Tummy DVD and splint recommendations. Highly recommended among those I know, as well as the midwives I see.

Another plea here for any BTDT! This is exactly the sort of thing I waste money on...
