So our new cleaning lady is here today. DD has been following her around all morning. But she just walked in the room where I was (still straightening) and asked why Ms. Christina was cleaning our house. I replied that "She is helping our family keep our house really clean." to which DD says " I don't think you need help--I think if you try real hard-- like you tell me when I can't do something-- you could clean the house yourself."

:)

I think I'll be asking DD to keep that comment to herself (and not tell DH!!)

Well I didn't say what I was thinking--which was "Well, Ms Christina will move the beds and scrub the floors underneath by hand and mommy won't do that! " LOL!!!!

I said something like Ms. Christina does this as her job and it helps Mommy be able to do other jobs, like sewing you some new clothes (which we are doing this afternoon). She accepted that and went on her way...
