Favor #1 - handmade chocolate lollipops in cellophane wrapper with pretty ribbon and a ball ( playground size)

Favor #2 just the playground sized ball

Favor # 3 - chocolate lollipop, bubbles, small bouncy ball in treat sack

Favor # 4 just the chocolate lollipop

Boys and girls will be attending.

#2

We gave these and it was a huge hit. I figure it is longer lasting than a lollypop.

I got standard kick ball type balls for 75% off at the grocery store. They were normally $6.99.

I put them in a laundry basket and let kids pick them as they were leaving. They had characters on them (Hanna Montana, Cars, Princesses, Spiderman,...)

I gave out those balls this year so I am biased...I obviously think they are a good idea. :)

I like the ball and the lollipop- #1.

IMO, the kids won't appreciate all the work that will go into a handmade lollipop. I think you could throw a bag of fruit snacks or some other candy in the bag and the kids will be just as thrilled.

I know many posters here aren't fond of the traditional goodie bag "junk", but a bag full of those small items puts my kids in heaven.

#2 Ball

As the parent of a child with food allergies, I always like it when the favor is not food.

I just went to target and no balls. Has anyone seen them lately?

Good point about the food allergy but I did confirm no allergies already.

I bought mine at TRU. Maybe they carry them year round?

DS is 5.5 and would probably prefer the ball over anything else. No need for anything else IMO :)

I think #1 or #2 are great ideas and will get used a lot.

Ball OR glow sticks in various shapes. Seriously -- we just went to a 5yo party on Sunday, with a huge loot bag and the one thing DD#1 and the other kids loved was the glow sticks.
