Hey all-
My dad, who is an RN, is retiring- after being in the field since he was about 20 yrs old (He'll turn 67 the end of Jan). Any ideas on a memorable gift?

My mom will probably do a scrapbook- and we're throwing a retirement party for him at my parents home.

Some of dad's hobbies- he bowls, likes to garden, is involved in church activities, and enjoys traveling!

TIA!

Maybe a shadow box of some of his things, such as name tag, stethoscope, etc.

What about a new bowling ball or a cruise?

Gifts my Dad received included:
New wardrobe of casual wear (he came from a formal business situation)
New 'Casual' Watch (Timex Ironman)
GF for the local bike shop (his hobby) - upgraded his tires
Passport case

They kicked it off with travel, mostly domestic. What about something toward a trip, even if it is a AAA membership.

I would have gotten my dad tickets to his favorite event (NASCAR racing) since he had never been able to get time off work to travel to one.
