Greek Mythology Books

I would like to get DS(6) a mythology book for Christmas. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good book? I would like it to be attractive and have well written stories. I would like Greek, but it could also be Greek and Roman.

I don't know how good the stories are but Mythology (http://www.amazon.com/Mythology-Ologies-Lady-Hestia-Evans/dp/0763634034/ref=pd_sim_b_6) from the "ology" series is really nice to look at. I'm thinking about getting Ellie that book and then a book that is more story oriented too.

Thanks for the book suggestions. I checked out the D'Aulaires' book from the library to preview. I also saw the Mythology book and had a similar idea as ellies mom.

Thanks also for introducing me to the greathall productions. I am going to explore them for some other presents.

We just went to Borders tonight and I found The McElderry Book of Greek Myths (http://www.amazon.com/McElderry-Book-Greek-Myths-Margaret/dp/1416915346/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254966932&sr=8-1)s. I haven't read it too closely but I love the illustrations. We bought it now and I'll get the Mythology book some other time.
