ok mamas, there seem to be sales going on...
ds1 is 6yrs old and hasn't outgrown his MA but is almost there, plus the seat is expiring...

so what next?
he's in a Regent in dh's car...so I could 'just' get another for my car...

I don't think handing something down is something to factor in, bcse ds2 is 3yrs old & RF in a MA...one (of our 2 MA) is about to expire, but I think that when I FF him, I'll go for a Frontier...

or, do I get the Frontier now and when I FF ds2 then get a HBB for ds1?

what about the Safeguard Go for ds1? the recent thread has intrigued me...

And since that thread, I've actually installed my Go in the middle of DH's Escape because it's narrow enough for the big kids to have some elbow and shoulder room next to it . But really, I think the Frontier or even Nautilus (try them both to see! The FR fits more kids better as a booster later, while the Nauti is a bit easier to install and has taller top slots, everyone loves either one for different reasons).
But a booster at age 6 is usually a perfectly fine solution. The Parkway is good for average kids, the Monterey is better for wide kids. www.csnbaby.com has the PW SG right now for $90 if you use coupon code '10percent'... plus it's easier to move from car to car, should he start riding with friends or whatever....and the crotch strap 'secure guard' is a good idea for first time booster riders, I think, to help them transition out of a harnessed seat.
