There is a HUGE storm over my work right now.... I am all alone and terrified.

I am also wondering how I am going to make it to my car (about 1/2 mile walk away) without getting drenched....

Well some bad news that turned into good news...

Because of the storm the whole plant will be shut down tomorrow so I will not be able to come in and make up hours that I needed....

....but because of the extenuating circumstances they are agreeing to allow me to work from home tomorrow! :D :D :D

I actually love storms. To me they are soothing. I know I'm weird but I come from Florida and have been through hurricanes.

Could you call building security and ask them to give you a lift to your car? I've done that before, most of the time they're understanding if your car is parked far away and there's no cover.
