My mom wants to get DS2 a scooter. He just turned 2, but he's about the size of a 1 year old (wears 12-18m clothes). I like the idea of the radio flyer My First Scooter, because it's really stable and easy to use, except we tried it out today at TRU, and the handlebars are right at eye level when Mr Shorty has one foot on the ground (to push the scooter).

Are there any similar scooters with adjustable handlebars?

Oh, he has a motor delay as well, so stability is key.

That's the one we tried today at TRU that was too tall for him.

Our preschool had some riding toys from Community Playthings;
they seemed really well made (and pricey!), but appropriately sized for younger children.

Their "Starter Scooter" :

We're thinking of trying their "Tweeler" bike because DS is not
super-confident on two-wheel bikes yet.
