Ours are in desperate need of a cleaning and I'm hoping someone has BTDT and has tips to share. TIA

I've unthreaded mine and soaked them in a sudsy bucket of warm water and Dawn. I may have also soaked them once for a short time in warm water and oxy clean. Then air dry.

Me too. And then I was wondering if I should have after reading about the car seat straps. . . but car seat straps would be under a LOT more stress in an accident than the high chair straps would ever have.

Yeah not to be blase but it is JUST a highchair. A fall from there is not equal to a car crash :)

I have taken them off the highchair and soaked them in a bucket of Oxyclean and hot water. And then air dry.

I also do the washing machine. I put them in a mesh bag, on gentle with a tiny bit of detergent. Then air dry.

I toss ours in the washing machine along with the high chair pad on the normal cycle, and I throw them in the dryer too. So far, so good. :)

I did mine in the washing machine. The crotch strap doesn't come off on my high chair though so I had to soak it on the spot. That water got all kinds of gross!!

I have soaked my high chair straps in just plain old water, and it always got all the dried up things off.
