DS please wipe your own nose!

Nuf said....

DS will be 5 in a month and REFUSES to wipe his own nose. He will let it run all over his face (totally gross) rather than use a kleenex or ask a teacher. At home he just wines continuously for me to wipe it for him. I'm so looking for a huge jump in maturity to come soon!

At home, I would just refuse to do it for him....

My DD#1 will blow her own nose and wipe it, but seems to think that its a-ok to throw the used tissue on the floor or anywhere except the garbage can or toilet. Then there is always the lovely "wipe the nose on the sleeve of the dress/top" technique. AHHHHHH.

When do they learn to blow their noses? DS is 2... I really am looking forward to turning the page on the non-nose blowing thing. It's like a continual fountain of snot sometimes. Now, he will try to wipe his own nose sometimes, but he ends up smearing it across his cheek mostly.

Those girls are just more hygenic by nature I think... the trials and tribulations of being mom to a boy;)

At least he does not eat his buggers like my DS used to do. He still does it occasionally, it drives me batty.
