I ordered the pink Combi Corccoro from babycatalog.com yesterday and then today I see this on Target.com

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41MZtZRjPtL._AA260_.jpg

a beautiful apricot shade! I didn't see that color on the Combi website or I would have searched for it. It wasn't on babycatalog.com either. Is it an old version or is it exclusive to Target?

Does Target carry this in store and will I have any luck taking the pink one in and asking to do an even exchange?

Is it different from Carrot Cake? http://www.combi-intl.com/Products/Item.aspx?Item=12 If so, yeah, it must be really new or something.

99% sure that's the same as Carrot Cake. Our Target doesn't keep Combi seats in stock so I don't know for sure. I have only ever seen Combi at the stand alone non chain baby store here. The Target.com makes it look a little bit lighter than the Carrot Cake photo on the Combi page, but I think there would be a press release on the Combi page stating that they have a new color, and Target doesn't say it's an exclusive.

Diapers.com just got a new stock of the Combi seats in yesterday! I was waiting forever, ordered it yesterday, and got my Chestnut for DS2 today! They are even cheaper! Only $179.99!!!

They have Chestnut, Cherry Pie, and the one you posted Carrot Cake!

Might want to check it out!

well darn. Target.com calls it "apricot" not "carrot cake"

here is the "carrot cake" from the combi website
http://content.combi-intl.com.asp1-10.websitetestlink.com/uploads/combi/Products/Coccoro-CarrotCake.jpg

and "apricot" from Target
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41MZtZRjPtL._AA260_.jpg

by the way, babycatalog.com has it for $168 with free shipping. That's where I got mine.

Well, that's weird. I dunno, the lighter it actually is IRL, the easier it'll be to get dirty :D

I'm betting it's the same thing.

Oh, and thanks for the babycatalog heads up! My MIL is buying me this seat for the new baby.

I'm anxious to hear how the fabrics on those cute seats hold up....the solid colors of the lighter ones might show dirt sooo quickly.

Those who have bought this seat: do you like it? (I'm debating this vs. Roundabout/Roundabout50 vs. True fit - too many choices! My car has a somewhat smaller backseat)

I have a Saturn Ion Sedan and DH and I are tall (6'3" and 5'9"). The best fit we got with a Britax BLVD and a Combi Coccoro was to place both kids behind us (which I hate having DS2 especially next to the door....freaks me out!). The Combi fits B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.L.Y behind my seat!!! I still have 2-3 inches to recline my seat. We installed both new car seats on Friday and took both boys out today and DS2 seemed to like his new seat. If I had bought DS2 a taller car seat, we would be trying to magically fit both seats next to each other. We tried the Combi next to the BLVD, but didn't like how it pushed the Combi to the side somewhat.....maybe I messed up installing them next to each other...don't know......but tried to install them side-by-side twice and got the same result.

I like the seat for DS2. He is 6+ months, weighs 16 lbs, and 26". If you want to get this...Diapers.com has a good deal but only 3 colors. Use code SBGEAR1 for 15% off.
