We were given several bath books. They've been sitting a while so really need a good cleaning. Can I throw these in the dishwasher or washing machine in a mesh bag? TIA

I've never done it, but I'd vote washing machine in a mesh bag!

No expert or BTDT, but I would probably soak in a vinegar and hot water solution. Or the dishwasher or washing machine sound good too!

Dishwasher w/o heated dry sounds like a good idea.

I just throw bath toys and books into the washing machine - use laundry detergent and bleach - run through a second water only rinse. Works like a charm! I've been doing this for 3 years now and DS has sensitive skin issues and we've had no problems.

I also do this with outside pool toys.
