okay to tie moby in the back?

sadly, I'm only 2 weeks out from having my newborn and just can't quite tie the moby wrap in front comfortably yet. motivation to lose weight! in the meantime can I tie it in the back? will the baby still be secure? I just received it in the mail so I'm excited to try and put him in when he wakes up

Sure! I tied mine on the side, so that I wouldn't have a knot on my back.

I too tie it where it is most comfortable, which can vary depending on what I'm doing. I have tied it in back and it felt just as secure.

The back is fine. I couldn't tie mine in the front after only two weeks either. Give yourself a break!
I would tie mine in the back when I loosened it up to nurse later on too.
