Interesting article. We were told at Children`s ER 2 days ago that they are seeing a mild flu so far, overall, but that of the children hard hit, it is teens. They were expecting the younger children to be hardest hit.

I'm not downplaying that H1N1 can/is very serious for some individuals and that children are being hit hard, but the CDC is also counting cases that involve hospitalization/death differently than in previous flu seasons...the new system for how they are counting took effect in Sept. I think that makes it difficult to compare deaths, etc. this season to previous flu seasons. No doubt it seems to be hitting younger/healthier people more than seasonal flu typically does but I think the change in how hospitalizations/deaths are being counted is at least worth noting.
