I had maternity leggings from Target last fall and winter and loved them so much I want a regular pair now. I want something that is comfy, good quality and long as I have pretty long legs. TIA!

Hah, I've posted this question at least twice on these Boards. I asked if there were leggings like Hanna kiddie leggings for moms! I can do a search and post the link to the old thread.

I like Splendid's tops a lot, and I assume their leggings are great as well. I have a few Gap ones but don't like them a whole lot. I just bought some Hanna Andersson mommy footless tights to wear with dresses - hopefully they will work out.

ETA: Here's one of the threads: http://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=292271&highlight=leggings

What about these Hanna leggings? http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC|6|4|32|50|6||&simg=32319_A88

I've worn my Stockholm skirt several times/week and I don't dress up much. LOVE it.

I dont know what kind youre looking for, but I wear leggings from Modell's under my clothes in the winter just for warmth (makes a HUGE diff btw). They are cotton, not at all spandexy.

Those look great. I'll wait for them to go on sale at the outlets. I bought these ones for $14 last week and they look like great quality (made in Denmark): http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC|1|4|32|149|9||&simg=35873_015

I've been searching for leggings for a while too. Black is pretty easy to find but other colors are tough! And some can be soo pricey! Recently I found some at Hue (a well known brand for tights, socks). I was at the Mall looking for leggings to go with a particular tunic and realized there was a Hue store there. I picked up a brown pair for $25 then went back at another date and picked up a navy pair when I realized I had multiple tunics with that color in it. They are nice quality. You can probably find them at bigger dept stores that sell Hue if you can't find a Hue store or maybe even online. I have a black pair from White & Black that are great but I think they were relatively expensive. I have fairly long legs and purchased a medium from Hue.

Hope this helps!

I got a pair last year from K-Mart of all places and actually just wore them today to work under a tunic. They are fairly thick cotton sweater knit and look and feel great. I've seen a lot of people wearing footless tights as leggings and that is just

I think leggings also need to be worn pretty much as tights are worn - under dresses or long tunics! NOT as pants. For grown-ups that is; my 3 yr old wears her leggings with t-shirts all the time.

You might also try American Apparel, but I believe they run small. However being in the big city of Chicago they must have a stand alone store there so you can try on all of their styles.

Also, what brand were those maternity leggings from Target?

Also, what brand were those maternity leggings from Target? I'd have to look when I get home. Can't recall if they were from the Liz Lange line or not. They were awesome and fit around my huge pregnant belly until the end. I practically lived in them!

I got some from the Target Spanx line (what's it called?) that I like pretty well....definitely more like tights than pants but comfy and did a good job shaping. A little sheer for my taste (because I tend to wear them under dresses or skirts that are pushing my standard of too-short) but nice. They were on clearance too.

Ladies, I just got the Hue leggings from Nordstroms. They are great. Super soft and comfy but look like great quality leggings. They are $25 each. I got them in espresso and black. I am normally a size 4 and ordered the small and medium sizes. I am keeping the medium size as it feels much more comfortable. The small size ones fit but were much tighter. Both sizes were long enough to reach my ankles and I have long legs!

Cool! I was just looking at a sweater/ tunic thing from Hanna today and thought I would need leggings, too. Do you think the Hue ones from Nordstrom would work for someone who's shorter (~5'3")? Or does anyone else have a rec. for a pair that would work for my height? Basic black is fine, I don't need any fancy colors :).
Thanks! Sorry to hijack!

How tall are you? I'm a little over 5'7" and a size 4-6 also. I recently bought 2 pairs of SWEATER leggings (black and gray) from Target in a size medium that fit great and feel sooooooo comfy and warm. They are the Mossimo brand. Are the Hue leggings made from cotton and are they thin? I'm thinking about getting some leggings that are a bit thinner for fall/spring weather. I live in leggings and Ugg boots during the chilly months.

That's good to know! I'm going to call my local Nordies and see if they have them. If they don't, they usually do a web order and free shipping. I might try medium too. Are they mostly cotton?

I am 5'6" but mostly legs. LOL. The Hue ones have a thick cotton feel. I think they will be warm enough for winter although I am now curious about the sweater Mossimo ones. The Hue ones are 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Small corresponds to 4-6 and medium is 8-10, but I found the medium size to be much comfier even though everything I wear is a size 4.
