Any advice for removing a bumper sticker?

My dh put a bumper sticker on the car that I want to remove. Any advice for removing it without damaging the paint underneith? The bumper is painted the same color as the car so I don't want to damage the paint that is underneith it but I realy want to remove the sticker.

I just reed to try wd40. Has anyone tried this method? Did it work?

WD-40 is good, or you can try Goo Gone (but read the label to see if it's ok to use on paint).

Or call an auto body shop and ask what they recommend.

I've used a hairdryer with good results. Making the sticker hot with the hairdryer makes it easier to peel off.

thanks everyone. WD-40 and a bit of patience worked and our car is now bumper sticker free!
