Can I decorate with this icing recipe?

I haven't tried that recipe before, but usually real buttercreams like that are fluffy and silky rather than stiff and heavy, like shortening/butter based buttercreams. The texture is different and not "stiff", but because there is no weight the shapes usually hold well.
