I need ideas of what to get my 2 yr old son for Christmas. He just turned 2 in September. I just don't know what to get for him. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Trike, cozy coupe, train sets, large trucks with big duplos inside, musical instruments.

I second the PP, esp. the train sets and trucks with building blocks.

Where do you live? Does he play inside or outside in the winter? What activities does he like? What is your budget?

If you live in a mild climate, a climbing apparatus would be fun. Little Tykes and Step 2 make these. Other posters might have suggestions for other companies.

Books always make great gifts.

I am a fan of building sets that can be supplemented later, such as wood trains, Legos (Duplo at this age), and such. That way you always can add to the set at later holidays, and they are good for developing the imagination, too.

If you have an Ikea they have a bunch of little train sets that you buy in sets and can make your own tracks. The collection is called Lillabo and I got the three listed and in-store there was another track too. Got this for grandma's house and DS1 LOVES IT!!!

Also, we got DS1 the Geo Trax Cars Set from TRU (which DH was out of town and so we are having second Birthday this Saturday).

If your son is like mine....anything that has wheels ROCKS!!!
