Weird Ritual

I swear DD#2 is part cat or dog. She has taken to fluffing her covers and doll or stuffed animal and putting them into a pile which she then curls up on before she goes to sleep. This is at bed or nap time. It's been going on for over a month now and it take about 20 minutes to do. It's so adorable but aggravating at the same time. I've decided I'm not going to worry about it as she is now going to sleep on her own and she's sleeping but still 20 minutes of rustling and moving and cooing and making sure everything is in the correct place.

Why can't I have "normal" kids?

I think I spend a good 20 minutes fluffing and folding and getting pillows and blankets in the right way. I get where she's coming from :love-retry:

I still do that with the quilts, pillows and blankets. Luckily DH thinks it's cute.

My DD makes a huge circle of blankets and pillows, then curls in the middle with a bunch of stuffed animals. We call it "nest"ing. :love5: Sometimes her nest is so big it takes me a minute to find her.
