I have an LLBean gift card for $70, and I'm not sure what to spend it on. My kids don't really need any new clothes, whereas I do, so I was thinking of getting something for myself. But what? Anybody have any ideas what they would spend $70 on at LLBean?

We have a $60 LLBean gift card that I'm wondering the same thing about. I think I may do a wreath for Christmas. They are expensive, but it will save us from having to buy one...

I'm open for suggestions as well since we don't shop from LLBean often...

I just bought the best pair of shearling slippers from LL Bean:

http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=23102&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=503444&feat=503444-tn&cat4=503422

OMG, so comfy. I think that $50 is crazy to spend on slippers, but now that I have them, I will always want them. I originally wanted a pair of Ugg slippers, but those are $100!!! These actually felt more comfy too.

HTH!

I love their sweaters. I like these:

I also covet a pair of the Wicked good slippers: http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=56631&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&from=SR&feat=sr

I have a long sleeve black t-shirt I really like from LLBean. I think it is advertised as stain resistant or something. Anyway, it is nice and long and the v isn't too revealing so I'd probably get a couple more of those for myself. If you live someplace cold, you might check out their gloves. It's always handy to have an extra pair or two for the stroller/car/etc.

I'd look at the home stuff...sheets, towels, Christmas decorations as pp suggested... I'd also consider something like a nice rain jacket or fleece.

I just bought the Fleece-Lined Hoodie for myself and love it!

(Sorry - I can't make the link work, but searching for Fleece-Lined Hoodie pulls it up.)

Love the Waterhog door mats (for the garage, mud room, and in front of the refrigerator).

A winter coat or boots? In addition to the great things PP's mentioned!

I would get duffel bags or the travel case.

Buy what you need the most for yourself since you said you need clothes. It's difficult to know what that is without taking a peek at your wardrobe, but I get the most bang out of my buck from buying a good coat and nice fitting pants.
