Here in CO we are supposed to get a major storm Tues night-Thurs. Estimates for my area are 8-14 inches. I am so not ready for this yet!

I am bummed! We were just there this weekend (your flu shot clinic is more organized then Maricopa County) and my almost 3 year-old has never seen snow!

We got our first real snow of the year today, but didn't stick. Suppose to snow more today and tom. It did snow very lightly for a few min. a few weeks ago.

It's 1:53 in Lake Tahoe and it is 36 degrees and sunny.
Crazy mountain weather!

High of 38 expected with a low of 18. Sunny all week, then warming
up to 58 on Halloween!!! Wooohooo! It was supposed to snow and rain,
last time I checked.

We had rain/snow and bears last Halloween. It's a thrill a minute up
here!

Coconino County accidentally gave a few kids the adult does!

I grew up in the BA, I know Tahoe weather. We moved here because we couldn't afford Tahoe, so we moved to Arizona's Tahoe instead!:ROTFLMAO:

Oh, no! Any idea how I would figure that out? This was for H1N1?

We've already had our first snowfall...enough so that it took a few days to disappear. :irked:

It has been dumping all day here. Maybe more tomorrow? It should melt off by the weekend--hope, hope. Or my kids will be wearing their expedition weight long underwear under their thin costumes!!

Wow...snowing a lot more up north, huh? It only snowed here for about an hour, but pretty hard. It melted pretty quickly soon after the sun came out. Should get some more snow tom.

I would totally be ready for the snow EXCEPT that I'm training for a marathon, and I really really hate running on the treadmill. At least it should be cleared out by the weekend for my 12 miler...

I don't know which is worse - snow or the cold, COLD rain that is falling outside now. Brrrrrrrr....I am not ready for winter yet.

We had our first snow last Thurs. It didn't stick, but it was fun to watch DS watching it. Here's hoping we don't get more until I finish digging out my boots and the shovel/scrapers for the car! When we drove down to VT two weekends ago the mountain road we wanted to take (scenic route) was closed due to early snows! Luckily we don't live in the mountains like you all do, so it's likely to be awhile before we get a really good snowstorm :)

I take it all back. By 3:30 it was snowing. Sunny, cloudy, snowing, FREEEZING.
Just got back from my daughter's voice lessons and it was 28 degrees.

We've had 3 snow storms already this month, this makes it number 4.
I fear we are in for a long, cold, WHITE Winter!

Belle, aren't you the one who grew up in Los Gatos, as well?
I think it's you that grew up on the mtn?

The boys made snowmen here 2 weeks ago, I'm not kidding. It melted the next day, but still....SNOWMEN IN OCTOBER? Actually, growing up in Wisconsin, I remember lots of times it snowed in September. I guess I was just enjoying the past few years here of exceptionally warm autumns.

DD wants to see snow. She barely remembers it from the midwest. We will have to come up your way.

Not sure it is going to stick. I would wait for a few weeks. YAY, people from the Valley that know how to drive in the snow! Flag locals (which we aren't) get so upset when PHX people come up, and drive lousy in the snow. DH got a season pass to Arizona Snowbowl, so we hope for a good year!

PM me if you want to know about restaurants or anything!
