quick update on DS and heart surgery

DS is doing so well. He has taken several bottles of pumped milk, he is off the ventilator and pacemaker (still on meds for JET through IV), forehead monitor removed, one of the chest tubes removed -- we are so grateful. He was awake and alert for about an hour and a half during our visit tonight which was neat.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and support. We are lifted up and sustained by the love and grace shown to us by our friends and family. We see the grace of God everywhere in this experience, especially as shown to us by those who love our little boy.

Huge thank yous to everyone and we welcome prayers and positive thoughts for DS as he continues to recover.
