I'm not sure what they're actually called, but I'd like to get some for DH for his birthday (boring gift, I know, but he'd like some :)). They're rubber things that you put on your shoes/ bottoms of shoes to wear outside in the snow and muck, to keep from ruining your nice shoes.

Any idea where to look or how much they cost?

Thanks!

Soemthing like this (http://www.amazon.com/Mens-Tingley-1900-Moccasin-Black/dp/B000CNSN9U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=shoes&qid=1256754749&sr=8-3)?

If you feel like droving to the middle of nowhere in MN, the local general store has quite a large selection. Or else use the Amazon link as a jumping off point to find exactly what you are looking for.

HTH!

Totes makes them too. They're called oveshoes or galoshes. I'm betting you could probably find them where ever Totes umbrellas are sold. I'd try Target, etc.

DH bought them from www.footsmart.com . They have all kinds of shoe and foot things. I find the catalogs interesting, if only from an 'I never knew they made something like that' perspective.

You can also check if Sloggers are an option if you'd prefer not to buy anything from Totes.
