Kids were arguing about one taking something from the other. What was it? An imaginary phone.

I asked, "Wait a minute. You're upset because DC2 took an imaginary phone?"
"Yes."
"Well can't you just hold your hand up like this [demonstrating] and say you have it back?"
"No."

At this point DC2 took pity, handed back the imaginary phone and said sorry. All was forgiven.

My kids are nuts.

It must have been hard to hand it back. ;)

LOL because my two do the same ;) DD has this whole imaginary world...her own house with another set of parents, etc. She tells DS that she has swings that go "really fast. Too fast for you" which of course drives him nuts and she loves the power play ;) So then they end up fighting over the use of her fictional swings...and she'll then tell him that she has an "old slow one" that he can use.

it does make me laugh as obviously it is her 2 year old way of having some power and control over her big brother. It totally pushes his buttons!

Well then I would give them an imaginary bill for all the imaginary minutes they are using.

:ROTFLMAO:DD's best friend has been known to run out of imaginary pizza as he's passing out slices.

I both love and fear that they have their own little worlds.

I'm glad mine aren't the only ones that fight over imaginary items. My DS is almost 7 and my DD is almost 5 and they still argue about who has the "xyz" (last week it was a frog).

I hate it when I have to arbitrate between the two regarding imaginary things!!

OMG this!!!! What is up with this??? And Sarah totally feeds into it. I find myself saying things like "Sarah if you don't want to be a pretend horse then DON'T!!!!!!!!!" :ROTFLMAO:

Crazy, isn't it? DD also has "horses that are too fast for (DS) to ride" etc. etc. It goes on and on :rolleye0014: like that (a pet lion that is nice to her and only lets *her* pet it, etc.). Seriously, the fact that they can manage to argue over things in her imaginary world drives me nuts!! :p
