Dh is in there destroying the DVD player!

Ugh. Ds2 did something to the DVD player. It will turn on but nothing happens. Our Tivo and other stuff is run through it so it's a pretty critical piece of our home entertainment set up. It's also a really nice DVD player that we got a great deal on. I suggested reading the manual to troubleshoot. He, on the other hand, has decided that it is irreparably broken and is now trying to get the DVD out of it. He's got a screw driver and is disassembling it. Why?!

Uh-oh. Our DVD player does that sometimes. I just have to power it down and wait it out.

Maybe DH just wants an excuse to get a new toy.

My DH overreacts like this. I generally wait for him to leave it alone then attack the problem myself and tada fix it! Its the only positve I have for DH starting to smoke - he's more likely to decide to leave a stressful situation for a cigeretter before actually doing anything rash. Ours also tends to fix itself if you turn it off/unplug it and leave it alone.
