I'm stumped on holiday gift ideas for DDs. DD1 will be 6 in January. She loves to draw and write. We have all your basic art supplies already - colored pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, glue, paper, construction paper, paint, glitter glue and easel paper. We also have dry erase markers and dry erase boards. Does anyone have any suggestions for art related toys or other art supplies? I just can't think of anything!

Thanks for any suggestions!

stationary is a good idea ...

a nice journal or sketch book maybe?

How about a set of rubber stamps?

When I was little I LOVED those colored pencils that you draw with and then use a paint brush and water to turn it into water colors... SO COOL!

Shrinky Dinks (I loved these as a kid). She might like the jewelry set?

I just got this for my niece for her 7th birthday, from iseeme.com. http://www.iseeme.com/kitworld.html
Basically, they send you a kit filled with questions for your DD to answer and pictures to draw. You send it back and they send you a hardcover book written and illustrated by your DD.

How to Draw books by Dan Green
watch me draw books by Winterburg (sp?)

And we want to try:

Draw a Square Draw anything (series, different books for different shapes) by Christopher Hart

How about a nice drawing journal and a set of nice (art quality, not Crayola type) drawing pencils.
