Today I wrote a letter to the mfgr of a product I thought was particularly well done. I decided to send it snail mail addressed to the CEO instead of just emailing Customer Service. My appreciation for the product is genuine, but I also wanted to see if I would get any kind of response. Anyone else ever try this?

I wrote a complaint letter to a Vice President and received not only a letter but a personal call and apology plus a free $250 Recaro car seat. Don't underestimate the power of a good letter!
