Has anyone seen a toy version of an immersion/hand blender? DD has been asking for one for months and it is the only thing she says she wants for Christmas. Yikes. I'm thinking that it is entirely possible that there are no toy hand blenders. If anyone has seen one, please let me know where. If all else fails, I may get her a toy blender and see it that works.

in my searches for kitchen toys, kitchens and all things toy food, i've never come across this! i'm curious myself.

i loved my immersion blender, until one day THE BLADES FELL OFF WHILE BLENDING. i hadn't used it that many times and it was a Kitchenaid. what a dangerous situation! :( i'm pretty sure my brother/sil spent nearly 50 bucks for it :(

you must use one a lot for DC to want it so much! fun!

OMG. Thank you, Melaine. It's not exactly what I *think* DD was asking for but I think it will be close enough. Yippee!

Oh, and yes, I do use my Cuisinart immersion blender a lot, nearly every.single.day to make an evening smoothie for my little peanut. Wanna know what is in it...you'll be sick...
Milk, organic sweet potato puree (from TJ's), Carlson's lemon fish oil, and sometimes plain yogurt or organic soy protein powder. No sugar added at all. DD LOVES these things and frankly, they seem pretty nasty. They run about 350-400 calories though so that helps me bring her up to the 1200 calories the ped wants.

I thought of you when I saw one at TJMax/Homegoods the other day. It was only 5.99!
