My 5 year old is not a sweet eater, and doesn't like candy. That's great when it comes to teeth, but I can't find a vitamin that she will take. She won't chew a tablet and she won't chew the gummies either- she just spits them out. I'm really desperate to get something into her to boost her immunity because she's essentially been sick since school started. I've tried the liquid infant drops, but she can taste them if I put them in juice and refuses that too. Any suggestions?

I would try calling a pharmacy and asking, they get tons of feedback I bet! Good luck!

Why not try teaching her to swallow pills? We were able to teach DS1 how to do it with the oraflow cup at age 5. FWIW, we only used the cup for a few days, just until he knew he could swallow the pills. You have to dry the spout inbetween pills and it was just easier to use a cup. But, the oraflow really did make it easier to teach him how to swallow the pills.

You could try some other liquid vitamins like Animal Parade (http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Plus-Animal-Parade-Tropical/dp/B0007WLV04/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1257270623&sr=8-1) or Schiff (http://www.amazon.com/Schiff-Products-Childrens-Multivitamin-Liquid/dp/B00014D35Y/ref=pd_sim_hpc_4) that are made for children so they might be more palatable. We used to use the Schiff a long time ago but I don't remember how DS liked it.

Oops, it's actually spelled Oraflo.

We have Hyland's vitamin C tabs. They are very, very tiny pellets. Sort of tart. But they quickly dissolve. So that may or may not work for your little one, but they aren't sweet.

They don't need to be chewed.

I think Rainbow Light makes a powdered kids vitamin. The liquid ones would be a good option too.
