So I just made this for the 2nd time (1st time I used a different recipe and didn't like it) and I'm wondering how everyone else eats this. Do you eat it warm, cold, or hot right out of the over? Do you just cut a slice and eat it with your hands or put it in a bowl with milk? I just took mine out of the oven so I don't even know how it tastes yet. I had to just put the oats in soy milk because DS1 is dairy-free and I didn't know what else to do. I did the banana w/ blueberries variation that Sally posted the other day.

I eat it warm, cold, but not usually right out of the oven. IMO it needs to set a bit. I like it plain...w/milk, warm, cold, with maple syrup, any way, really.

We warm it up and eat it on a plate with maple syrup and a large glass of milk to wash it down. I substitute applesauce for the sugar so it needs a bit of something sweet.

Fully cooled and cut into bars. In fact, it is called "oatmeal bars" in my house.
