This contest will run through Nov 9th! On the 10th, if Sheba wins, the winner of the giftcard will be chosen. So, spread the word far and wide and if your reply is in this thread and Sheba is a winner, you may also be a winner!!!
Sheba is competing in a photo contest run by the Kuranda Dog Bed company. The contest runs through Nov 9th. If Sheba wins, our rescue will win a Free Kuranda Dog bed. This bed is phenomenal in a shelter environment as it keeps the dogs off the cement in the winter, is virtually indestructible, easily hosed off to clean and dries quickly. Thus, it is gold for a shelter. However, these beds are expensive, so most shelters cannot afford them. Donations are the only way to help homeless dogs have this comfort while waiting for a home of their own.
Sheba is behind in the voting, so I am offering a contest for a $5 Amazon Gift card. All you have to do is vote for Sheba (or if you have done so already), then reply in this thread, "I voted". Then ask your friends and relatives to vote for Sheba as well. Kuranda provided a link in the email to our rescue to spread the word and ask everyone we know to vote for Sheba. If Sheba wins, on the 10th, I will let my 4 year old DS randomly pick a name from the thread and I will PM that person with the $5 code to Amazon.com. It is one I received from completing a survey, but I am donating it to a good cause.
