Any recs for a plain silver charm bracelet for a 3yo? I'd like to start with a charm or two and add more over time. TIA!

James Avery doesn't have a bracelet sized for kiddos, nor Blue Nile..

No ideas for you, but I've been looking for one too so I'll be watching this post for info.

How long does the bracelet need to be? Here is one that is 6in long.

http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Sterling-Silver-Tennis-Ball-6-inch-Sports-Charm-Bracelet/2533773/product.html (could just remove the charm it comes with)

Here are more in 7in length.http://www.overstock.com/search?keywords=charm%20bracelet&SearchType=Header

You may be able to get a jeweler to remove a link or two and solder the bracelet back together if you fall in love with one of these and it's a tad too long. They grow so fast...I wouldn't drop too much in the bracelet itself at this point.

Personally I like this one http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Sterling-Silver-7-inch-Sweetheart-Charm-Bracelet/3959864/product.html. Not too $$ and you can just hook the clasp on a ring closer in to make it shorter. The excess will just dangle a little.

I just checked Etsy and came across this bracelet (it looks like it would be adjustable from toddler to adult):

I didn't look at any other sellers, but I'm sure there are others.

How about a Pandora? They have a 6.7 bracelet that would probably work with a few charms on it. My DD who is 4 loves mine and keeps asking for one. I tried to convince DH to go for it and add charms over time but he was afraid she'd lose it. So I found this seller on etsy who makes Pandora style bracelets. She put the charms on a 6.5 bracelet and sent me the extras. (She even swapped out some of the charms for more litle girl ones like a butterfly, little girl, ladybug etc, and sent me the extras so she could change her bracelet). Very cute. She's getting it in a few weeks for her birthday.

Here's one by Things Remembered ... not sure your price point though - this one is $45.00. It is a 5.5" chain with 1" extender. Check it out.

Thanks for the great suggestions as always. I think we'll go with the 6-inch bracelet from Overstock. We can always upgrade later.

Now off to find charms to put on dd's Wish List. :)

Gap Kids has some and there were some cute charms to go with it. My 4 year old liked it a lot and asked for one.
