s/o: Favorite Sesame Street/Muppets Christmas video

I have the Muppets Christmas Movie and for some reason, the girls don't like it much. They also don't particularly like SS, which I just do not understand -- I :heartbeat: SS!

Any ideas?

I love Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas (Muppets) circa late 70s. Have it on VHS. Favorite holiday movie. A loose interpretation of the Gift of the Magi.

My favorite as a kid was The Muppets Take Manhattan. Bubba Ray keep trying, it took DD along time to get used to the Muppets TV Show, we have season 1 and now she'll watch it more.

The Elmo Christmas special is a staple around here. My favorite part is when Jennifer Hudson sings.

My brother Joe had a tape of a Jim Henson/Muppets TV special called The Christmas Toy that he watched repeatedly as a kid.

As in, he watched it so much, he would've worn the tape out had he not accidentally taped over bits and pieces of it.

I saw it on DVD at Target last year just before Dad e-mailed me asking for gift ideas for my siblings.

(Dad said it was a big hit, so I got to pat myself on the back a bit.)
