Can anyone recommend a nice ride-on toy for a girl 12-18 months old - specifically I would love a wooden, feet-on-floor ride on. I don't mind $$ since I would like something of quality that will last. If Haba made one I would be thrilled, but they don't, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

We have the Radio Flyer Rolling Pony which has held up really well for almost 4 years now (DD still likes to ride it). However, it is not made anymore. The Classic Tiny Trike (http://www.radioflyer.com/products/rideon/320.asp) is similar in style.

We love our Skitter/Plasma car, but we only use it outside. DD was almost mastering this at daycare before she could walk!

We had what I think was an older version of the RF tiny trike and it was fantastic :) I found it 2nd hand (new in box) for my youngest, but my DS got a lot of play out of it too even when he was like 3-4yo.

DD also had the Little Tikes trike and it was great. She got it for her first birthday. Unfortunately I can't find it on their page anymore. DD actually rode this more when she was 2 and still now at 3 still rides it.

Thank you for all the great ideas (leaning toward the RF trike...wish it came in pink). - I also came across adorable animal character ride-ons made by Scratch - unfortunately it is sold out at the only place that seems to carry it - moolka.com Has anyone seen Scratch products anywhere else or know of any web sites that carry Scratch?

We have the Svan Scooter and love it. Also has a 2 year warranty and great customer service.

My 15mo and 3.5 year old are currently sharing our small Wheely bug. All the kids at the playground go crazy over it too. I love how light it is. Even the baby can pick it up and carry it around.
