EBF baby spitting up yellow?

My EBF baby is spitting up yellow...is this normal? Normally when she spits up, it's kind of white curdled looking milk. This new stuff is very yellow. Could it be acid? Do I need to be concerned?

Could she have a cold? Give your doctor a call, that's what they get the big bucks for. I myself called the oncall doctor in the middle of the night after DS threw up everywhere one night.

DD once threw up a bit of bright, mustard yellow while EBF. Turns out it's definitely not normal but because it was just a small amount and she was acting fine the pedi wasn't worried. Spitting up bright yellow can be a sign of serious intestinal blockage (it's basically stuff from the small intestine backing into the stomach IIRC.) If you have any reason to be concerned about her behavior or if it's truly bright yellow/large quantities I would call the pedi right away.
