Do you use car brands to talk about other things? For example, when Dh and I were shopping for strollers, we talked about the Mercedes stroller, the BMW stroller, the Honda Accord stroller, and the Ford Escort stroller. We also did it with baby carriers, backpacks, climbing gear, and now we're doing it with grand pianos. It strikes as very funny that with all the gear we buy we tend to go for the Honda Accord line of stuff. Only now, my dream piano has been called the Ferrari of pianos. Not sure if it's because of price, or simply because it's an Italian brand. Hoping for the latter:loveeyes:

Being a car nut, yes, I do refer to something as the "Ferrari" or something. Brand changes but I do hold some brands higher than others. I'm enough of a car nut that I go down into the individual models though. Like the "Camry" of strollers rather than just "Toyota" of strollers.

Totally. My hubby only likes stuff in the Porsche class - in just about everything. Can make saving tough...

Yes I do that too.
I would say that Britax Marathons and BV's are like Lexuses (easy to use, comfy, luxurious), Roundabout 50 is like a Toyota Camry (not quite a Lexus ES but similar and without the bells and whistles), Radians are like Mercedes (high performance, but not as plush and are high maintenance)
True Fit is like a very nice Hyundai, got all the features, but it's just not a Britax/Lexus.

(did I get all those plurals correct?)

Zapp = Porsche
BOB = Suburban
Maclaren = BMW
Vista = Lexus LS
Bugaboo = Mercedes

Yes, I do! Only now I do it with carseats more than strollers.
