I need to make two appetizers tonight. They both need to be served hot. Once cooks for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, the other needs to cook 30-40 minutes for 30-40 minutes at 400 degrees.

How can I cook these both together without ruining them?

What are you items?

IMO For pastry items/breads etc. I stick to the recipe/temp. For warm up/melt casserole items you can alter a bit.

One is a small sausage appetizer, the other is a cheese dip baked in a bread bowl.

Can you do both at 375 and just alter the times a bit?

The sausage wrapped in bacon ( trust me, it is yummy!) is supposed to cook at 400 for 30-40 minutes. The cheese dip in the bread bowl needs to cook at 350 for 30 minutes.

I would do the meat to recipe, and add the cheese for 20-25 minutes at the end. It is more of a 'warm up/melt' item rather than a 'cook' item in my eyes.

I don't think the higher temp will hurt the bread.

Share the recipes please, I am hungry now!

The other one, you just take lil smokies and wrap them in a half a piece of bacon. Put them on a foil covered cookie sheet. Sprinkle with 1 cup brown sugar and bake at 400 for 30 - 40 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

Those lil smokies are the devil. Seriously. My best friend makes them and every time she does I cannot stop eating them. I mean, come on now...pig, wrapped in pig, and smothered in brown sugar!!! Where's the drool smiley when you need it??
