There are some decent deals on some of the Leapster games. Using the coupon code listed above I got Finding Nemo and Backyardigans for under $30. There was a Star Wars games that was $15 before the discount. Anyway, if you don't pay shipping or sales tax it works out to be a pretty good deal.

They said they were forwarding my concern to marketing. I am very unhappy so far, as I buy from Amazon 3-4 times weekly for 10 years plus (so I am a GOOD customer).

It specifically says in the fine print that it can be used on up to 5 items, but they must be the same. Maybe they have to be exactly the same, as in the same title? I tried it too....

I had called earlier today and a customer service rep offered $5 promo so i accepted it begrudgingly. then i read that people were getting $5 codes for each book by emailing, so i emailed around 4pm. since i hadn't heard back from amazon i just called. the customer rep told me its being handled by promo dept and i should hear in 2 business days. i told her i wanted to speak to manager b/c i was afraid book prices would go up, code expire, etc. etc.

anyways, just spoke to manager and he applied promo of $40 to my account so i was able to get 10 books. I mean i could NOT pass up this great price. 2 weeks ago i had no intentions of getting DD a leapfrog and now she has a 32 MB leapfrog and 10 books coming to her!!! all for only $70. these books will be presents for every holiday for the next year! :)

I placed an order for 1 book (w/ $5 off code). Then I placed the addit books in my cart and then as you'll see in my post, i eventually called them. They have access to see what's in your cart. He saw I had 8 books and applied $40 promotional code to my account. Technically I couldn't bailed on purchaing any of the books and I would've had $40 in promo credits to spend on something else, but in the end I applied them all to the 8 books. Now my DD will be set for the next couple of years!

I sent an email and it didn't get me any where. The guy said you could only get the $5 off one book. Also, the terms of the $10 off the Violet pal is now change to 20% off, so no go on that. I am going to call CS now and see if I can get them to take the $5 off 5 books.

I would not order personally and wait for them to credit you. If the order ships quickly you might not have a chance to cancel before it ships, then if they don't give you the credit you will either have to keep the $10 books or pay to ship them back.

AGREED! Especilaly if you have Prime. A month or so ago, I ordered 2 of the same things by accident. I noticed within an hour and called them and it was already too late becuase they get processed for shipping immediately with Prime. Luckily, in that instance, they emailed me a UPS prepaid shipping label as a courtesy.
