#4! Yay!
I glanced down to read your excellent Mother Teresa quote and got a little shock, though not as big of a shock as you got I am sure.
Again, congratulations. :cheerleader1::cheerleader1::cheerleader1::cheerle ader1:

Thanks Katie & everyone else! I'm not unhappy about it, but my head is spinning a bit. So much so that I'm not exactly jumping for joy IYKWIM. Among other things, I feel like I'm too old for this. We'll make it work, you know?
Anyway, thanks for celebrating with me. Maybe I'll be :yay:
in a few weeks, after it sinks in. :tongue5:
Anyone else with 4 that can encourage me here? I'll take anything I can get.

Welcome to the whoops-we-have-four club! We also had every intention of stopping at 3. No advice as we are still learning the ropes.

Congratulations!!!!
My friend has 4 (#1 born in 2002, #4 born 2008) and #4 really just seems to have folded right into the family quite easily. :)

Congrats on #4. We are only 5 months in to our family of 4 but it is GREAT! (we were going for #3 and got a bonus :-) )
Life sure is crazy but I can't imagine life without all 4 of my kiddos. Just think how much fun they will all have together as they get older. You will do great!

Thank you again ladies for all the congratulations & encouragement. It means a lot.
Just wanted to add that I LOVE surprise babies. . . meaning that my husband was an unplanned 4th child, and several of my closest friends are the last and usually unexpected of three, four or more.

I saw this thread yesterday, but waited until today to post. I had to do a search to remember who are other #4 expecting mama is: Raidra/Rachel. I can think of Jeana/JBaxter, but not too many others on the board with 4 or more. Congratulations to Allison and belated congrats to Rachel!

No BTDT, but I'm the first of four, and number 4 was a bit of a surprise (#3 was planned, #4 was his twin!). Anyway, I just wanted to say that I can not imagine our family without #4. He's a total sweetheart, and everyone has a soft spot for him. Maybe it's a number 4 thing. ;)
I would have loved to have had four myself, but at my age, I know it's not going to happen. It's just such a nice number of kids to grow up with. :)

Thanks again everyone - it's beginning to feel OK. I'm no longer on the verge of hyper-ventilating. The oven fiasco is also helping to refocus my energy.
Thanks again for helping me celebrate. I'm one of 4 as well so I know it's doable.

Wow, congratulations! Welcome to the "wow we have 4 kids" club. It is crazy and hard but so much fun. We had a 2year party for the twins yesterday and it was great. All 6 of us running around with party hats and playing games. The 2 older boys and I baked and frosted the twin's cake while the twins napped in the afternoon. It turned out so fun.
I will say this about having 4 kids. Your life becomes completely about serving others. It is very selfless and I find that so fulfilling. You also learn not to sweat the small stuff quite as much. It's very humbling. You are in for a fantastic adventure. I"m so excited for you!
