Video Monitor

I have the 7th edition of the Baby Bargains....in that one they didn't recommend any video monitor.....do they in the 8th? and if not what is your recommendation?

Not sure what edition of BB that I have but they gave high marks to Summer Infant. I bought the Summer Infant Slim and Secure video monitor (a BRU exclusive) recently which is a new model and so far I'm very impressed with it. Of course baby isn't here yet but I tested out both the audio and video. The video was much better than I had expected and I could clearly hear the music on the mobile. I was very worried about interference and the potential for picking up the signal from another monitor (some scary reviews of other monitors on Amazon) but there were no problems.
