My dd is almost 8 months old and I'm looking for a travel high chair/booster seat that I can take with us to our inlaw's house for Thanksgiving. I need something compact and sturdy! Any recommendations? She sits really well on the floor, but tends to still slouch a little bit in her Graco Polly and in her umbrella stroller. I'm not sure if this will affect what kind of travel high chair she'll need!

Fisher Price Healthy Care booster seat all the way :). It folds small, is easy to clean, handle for carrying, easy to attach to various types of chairs, tray fits in the dishwasher.

We actually used it as our full-time high chair for awhile b/c it's so nice!

:yeahthat: It's the only high chair we have so far. Our kitchen table is bar height, so this allows DD to sit "with us" when we eat. It's inexpensive, flexible and cleans easily.

Love this- FR Healthy Care booster! We have one at our house for little guests- and one at each grandparents' home.

Totally agree. It was our only high chair until we bought a Tripp Trapp. Would highly recommend it, especially for the price.

I actually may skip the regular high chair all together with DD2 and just use this at home and on the road. Way easier to clean than our Chicco high chair.

Safety 1st has something similar to the FP chair. We have that one and we use it instead of a high chair. Only thing I don't like about it is the position of the seat belt. The FP is much better in that regard. We did pick up an FP chair at a garage sale because we are now going to need a 2nd "high chair." They are just so much more practical than regular high chairs. Arwyn is the Safety 1st, and we don't use the tray anymore she just sits at the table.
