What to get a 2.5 yr old this season?

DD is almost 2.5. She is very into singing and dancing, drawing/coloring and playing ball (she has amazing coordination for a 2 yr old--better than my 5 yr old). Any ideas of appropriate items for her?

Also, would you get a balance bike for a 2.5 yr old?

How about playsilks or streamers that she can dance with?

Do a Dot markers are a big hit with DS2. Or other art supplies like stockmar crayons, color pencils, crayon rocks (choking hazard so wouldn't be good if she still mouths things.), pipsqueak markers.

toy garden has amazing customer service and the best prices on playsilks anywhere (even making your own can end up costing more)

we have 12. we love them and if all else fails (it won't) you can use them as wrapping paper! (ours are 35x35inches-- just tie the corners together and voila! wrapped gifts that look like a rainbow ...this use also reminds to to wash the silks at least yearly!)
