Duplos or Mega Blocks?

Which do you prefer and why? These would be for one year olds (and well their big brother (4) who always hogs their toys).

Duplos, hands down. Reason...I dunno, I just don't like Mega Blocks. We have them but I've had them in a closet to get rid of for ages. ETA: I thought about it, and I remember now I don't like the way the Mega Blocks are kind of loose when you put them together. Legos fit more snugly together.

If you can find them, my kids both love the Quattros too. Especially for you one year olds, they are easy to work with. My 6 year old still likes to build with them.

Duplos definitely. They are higher quality and not made in China.

Though both boys really didn't care for the Quattros. They were too big for them to handle when they were younger and the pieces didn't stay together very well.

I like Duplo because of the quality. We have owned both and the Megablocks do not stick together as well. Towers collapse rather easily with MB while the Duplos are very sturdy.
