My cousin's son is into Bakugan this year and I'd like it get him something Bakugan for xmas. But, I don't really know much about it other than they are little balls that open up into figures. And they have something to do with battle. Frankly, I don't really need to know what its about but I do need to know what is something Bakugan I could get him. I don't spend much on the extended family children, usually a max of $15. Is there anything I can get in that price range other than one or two little Bakugan guys? I love watching for great sales so even if you know of something at a higher price point but I can use coupons or discounts somehow to get it for less, I am cool with that too.

I think the Bakugan balls or traps would be appreciated. You can never have enough of those. DS always wants a trap (bear in mind that I'm not quite sure what a trap is other than that it is something good and desired, lol). The Deka (large balls) are something that DS likes as well. If you want an accessory, something like the storage case would be good. They also have Bakugan books at Borders/B&N, etc. You could buy a ball and a book for around $15.

I'm not sure about sales. It seems they don't go on sale too much though I haven't been paying too much attention since DS just started getting into them within the last few months. Lately I've been buying them at Borders. If you are a member (free to join) they send you coupons for 20, 30, or 40% off frequently. Also, when I went last week they were having buy 2, get 1 free on all their toys. I picked up some lego, bakugan, and board games.

you may be able to get your hands on a Baku Tin for 15 or 20 bucks. It comes with a couple of balls and a few cards. My DS stores most of his Bakugan balls in the tin (has 2 layers of foam (I think) to hold the balls. They come in various colors (red, gold, silver, bronze, blue, green).
