hanging mistletoe

I got my neighbor this (plus I got a smaller one for myself). Growing up...we always hung our mistletoe on the doorway....this mistletoe hangs from a sheer ribbon...how would you hang it from your doorway??? TIA!

In the past, we've used a push pin or thumb tack and pushed that in the trim around the door... (I guess that would only work if you had trim.)
