Twlight Fans

I have 2 nieces (11 and 13 years old) who are into Twilight this year. I've never seen the movies or read the book. What do you think about jewelry gifts like this from Etsy?

I was looking for something else on Etsy the other night and saw they had "Team Jacob" and "Team Edward" necklaces. They were more than $20 though.

i'm sorta a reluctant, embarrased twilight fan. it makes me feel a little bit icky to be like a seventeen year old again, and a little giddy.

that said-- i'm solidly past the jewelry :) BUT-- an 11 and 13 year old might not be :) i would NOT get the third choice (the one with fangs), because that's a little dark and weird to me...the other ones are okay though-- i could see certain girls being really into it. :)

I am a little nervous about their parents reaction to the blood jewelry thing. I don't know which "team" they are on either (Jacob or Edward) - maybe I should stick with something more generic!

I agree I would skip the fangs. I really like the second choice since it is directly from the book. If you search for Bella's bracelet you will find tons of them.
I wasn't looking for myself....ok, well maybe I was a little.
