What can you tell me about mini-trampolines? Are they safe? Any recommendations...we would need one that folds up due to space issues? Thanks,

DD has one that has a handlebar thing that I feel is pretty safe. As she is getting older and more daring, she tends to use it in some ways that are maybe less safe, but overall I'm not too worried. It's only a few inches off the ground, so it seems like it can't be that dangerous, but maybe I'm naive.
Ours doesn't fold, so I won't bother with the name, etc, but one thing I would say is to not get one that talks. Ours does and it drives me crazy!

Your 6yo may be aging out of it, but because it can deflate and fold up, would help with space issues

Thanks for the article. I'm always tempted, and it makes a good point that they should be used as training devices not toys. Makes me want do classes at the local gym instead of having it in the house.
