Hmmm, since I haven't heard of most any of the artists on your list I am going to guess we might not have the same musical taste!!

But, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson are 2 that always work for me. :)

I have extremely ecclectic taste in music. As long as its not Opera....

All of those are Contemporary Christian artists. But, I'm open to other ideas.

I tend toward more rock/alternative sounds though. I like me some Nickelback.... :jammin: I pretty much have all of Jack Johnson's CDs, though I don't have his stuff on any playlists.

Have you tried Pandora.com? It's an internet radio station - you plug in a couple songs you like, and it finds simliar songs for you. I heard an interview with its director on NPR today. They have their analysts rate each song on very minute details.... the rate of the drumbeats, the singer's tone, and so forth. It's not just "you like Christian rock so here are some more Christian rockers". It may find you something completely unexpected. Sounds neat to me.

We used Pandora at a party this summer to set up a playlist for us. It was really neat.

I'm working on making three more playlists for during my labor - one with instrumentals/quiet songs, one with rockin' songs, and one with both. :)
