DD is 16 mo...most reviews mention 5 month olds....

Is there a max age that this teether is safe and/or useful at? The molars in back are coming in....

DS is 16 months and sleeps with it. I don't really care what he does with it, it's cute and I like it. I had always wanted one for DD but never did get one for her. Life's short, get yourself the teether. :)

I don't think it would be dangerous or anything, but I just don't think you would get your $20 bucks worth either. But if you want it, get it.

We let my DS chew on a toothbrush at that age. It was perfect for molars :)

DD is 10 months and has outgrown her love of sophie for the most part. It was most useful for the middle infancy stage - 4-9 months.

I think they make a molar teether specifically for toddlers though (not sure who makes it).

I have to agree. 4-9 mo was the crucial Sophie age for DD. But then again, can't hurt to have it.
